Referral partners

Most of my best clients arrive through someone they already trust. These pages set out, in plain terms, how I work with the professionals who serve the same Bay Area employers I do, and what each side can expect.

• Employment attorneys: HR operations support for your clients; no referral fees in either direction.
• CPAs and benefits brokers: reciprocal referrals, with a disclosed referral fee where your professional rules allow it.
• VCs and accelerators: portfolio pricing for your companies instead of a fee.

What every partner can count on

• I tell a referred client when their situation needs a lawyer, a CPA or a broker, and I send them back to the partner who referred them first.
• I do not give legal, tax or insurance advice.
• Every engagement is quoted in writing before work starts, so your client is never surprised by my bill.
• I keep you informed only as far as the client agrees.
